Tina Lessani

Founder and Principal Attorney

Ms. Lessani is a registered patent attorney with over twenty years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide variety of computer and software-related technologies.  Technologies on which she has worked include artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, network security, enterprise and cloud-based software, mobile device applications, sensor systems, telecommunications, energy management systems, CRM systems, configuration applications, augmented and virtual reality systems, user interfaces, microprocessors, and much more.  She has significant experience in counseling clients on patent strategy and assisting clients in building strong patent portfolios, both in the U.S. and internationally. 

Ms. Lessani represents venture-backed start-ups, mid-sized companies, and large Fortune 500 companies.  She has an international client base, ranging from Silicon Valley to New York to Europe.  Companies she has represented include:

Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Lessani joined the firm of Fenwick & West in Palo Alto, CA in 1995.  Her practice placed her in Silicon Valley during the peak of the dot-com era.  There, she became an active participant in the technological innovations taking place in the area, working with technology companies during a period of markedly increased patent acquisition.  More than a decade ago, Ms. Lessani set out on her own with her wealth of experience to form a new legal practice, one dedicated to assisting clients in cost-effectively building and maintaining durable, comprehensive patent portfolios.

Adrienne Cheng Yu

Senior Patent Attorney

Ms. Yu is a registered patent attorney with over fifteen years of experience in the patent field.  She is highly skilled in prosecuting patent applications through the Patent Office and has significant experience negotiating with patent examiners.  She prepares and prosecutes patent applications in a wide range of technologies, from medical devices to computer software and hardware, for start-up, midsize, and large technology corporations.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Yu was an attorney with Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP in its California offices, where she managed U.S. and international patent portfolios for over a dozen clients.

Kathryn Pritchard

Paralegal

Ms. Pritchard  is an intellectual property paralegal with over thirty years of legal experience assisting attorneys with U.S. and foreign patent prosecution/litigation matters, research, docketing, client communications and document/file maintenance and organization.  Ms. Pritchard has worked for several large law firms and corporations, and attended California State University (Sacramento and San Jose campuses) majoring in political science.
